CAPTCHA Code Not Working

1 min read

1 min read

As you complete your return with our online product, we’ll ask you to complete a CAPTCHA code. If the CAPTCHA code isn’t appearing or your CAPTCHA code is not working when you try to file your return, try switching to a different browser. Or it might have expired — try clicking the link to get another code.

For example, if you have a blank CAPTCHA in Chrome, try using Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox. Be sure to Save and Quit in the current browser before you switch to the new browser.

Why We Use CAPTCHA

CAPTCHA stands for “Completely Automated Public Turing test to tell Computers and Humans Apart.” It’s one of the ways we help keep your information safe. It ensures that returns are being filed by actual people, and not completed by systems that can fraudulently prepare returns.
